HoK Events of July

• Event 1: Monthly Welfare Pack
  Event Server: All servers
  Event Time: Continuous
  Event Description: You’ll receive a pack of 120 points and 50,000 coins every two weeks for the tasks completed.
  Criteria for receiving the Welfare Pack:
  1) If you have accumulatively finished 100-180 daily tasks within 15 days, you’ll receive 50% of the Welfare which contains 60 points and 25,000 coin;
  2) If you have accumulatively finished 181-260 daily tasks within 15 days, you’ll receive 100% of welfare which contains 120 points and 50,000 coin;
  3) If you have accumulatively finished no less than 261 daily tasks within 15 days, you’ll receive 150% of welfare which contains 180 points and 75,000 coin.
  The 1st and the 16th of each month are the settlement dates of welfare packs.

   

  Event 2: Weekly Active Player Pack

  Event Server: All Servers

  Event Time: Continuous

  Event Description: If you are one of the most active players for the week, you will have a chance to receive the “Active Player Pack” which includes Steamed Monkey Brain*1 and 20 points. Each week we will compile a list of players who have spent the most time in the game, and randomly select 50 lucky players from the list to receive the “Active Player Pack”.

   

  Event 3: Good Forum Posts for Weekly Prizes in HOK
  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: Continuous
  Event Description: The following event will take place in the forum:

  1. Every week the best, most engaging, entertaining and/or useful forum posts will be selected and the corresponding authors will receive an award ranging from 30-100 points.

  There is no maximum number of posts that can win this award.

  2. At the end of the month, the forum admins will select the best post for the month by reviewing the winning “Weekly Good Forum Posts”. The author of the winning monthly post will receive 600 points. The author is also able to select 10 players who replied to the winning post and award them 100 points each. (The winning post’s author needs to list the 10 players’ names by editing their own #1 post.)
  Event Award: Points will be distributed in the form of a gift package every weekend for weekly good posts and at the end of the month for the winning post of the month. Winners will be asked to select which server to send the award to after the winners are announced.

   

  Event 4: Welcome the World Cup Elimination Contest Event!

  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: Until the world cup ends

  Let’s celebrate the World Cup and win some great prizes with our World Cup Elimination Contest.

  Starting today, we welcome all our players to actively participate in our latest event and earn some exciting prizes!

  Rules:

  1. Since the Sweet Sixteen started on June 26^th, there will be 3 rounds in the World Cup Elimination Event: Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals. Each round every player can guess the result of a 90 minute match for any of the competitions. Each account is eligible to vote once per round.

  2. The ballot deadline ends 1 hour before each game. Only the top 200 votes for each round will be counted. Therefore, there will be a max of 50 votes to be collected for each match following the Quarter Finals round(4 matches); a max of 100 votes to be collected for each match following the Semi Finals Round(2 matches); and a max of 200 votes to be collected following the Final round(1 match).

  3. Players can start playing at any round of the contest. They will receive 20 points and 20,000 coins to start off with. We will note down the participants who correctly guess any match of any round along with the corresponding matches and odds. After 3 rounds, we’ll calculate each winner’s final funds according to the relevant odds and will distribute the rewards. Winners will receive a “Guessing Master Gift”. Those who correctly guess all 3 rounds will receive an additional gift of 3 Purple Fairy Jades, 1 Hes Jade and 1 portable HP and MP pack. Unlike common elimination rules, even if a player guesses incorrectly for all 3 rounds, he or she will still receive the starting funds --- 20 points and 20,000 coins --- just for participating!

  4. Every round, players must include the following information: Server + Account Name + Round number (1, 2, 3) + Match number (the match number within that specific round) + the result of the match (win, tie, or lose). Please note that only the first 90 minutes of each match will be counted, and any overtime and penalty shootouts will not be counted.

   

  Example: Aries + Account Name + 1 +1 + Win. The first match of the first round is one of the Quarterfinals --- Netherlands VS Brazil, and if Netherlands wins, the payout is a factor of 3 so the player’s fund grows to 60 points and 60,000 coins. This becomes the fund available for the next round of elimination. If Netherlands either loses or ties, players will retain their original 20 points and 20,000 coins and may proceed to the next round of the elimination. Incorrect guesses will not diminish a player's initial holdings. These odds are for reference only. We have included a detailed summary of odds for this contest.

  Event 5: A Free Second Entry of Instance for Independence Day Weekend

  Event Server: All Servers

  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 3rd to 23:59 on July 4th

  Event Description: To celebrate Independence Day in the USA, players can enter Hangu Pass for free for the 2^nd time over the Independence Day weekend.

   

  Event 6: Award to the States’ Warriors

  Event Server: All servers

  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 7th to 23:59 on July 13th

  Event Description: All of the competitions who won in the Capital’s Martial Hall will get the amount of coins doubled. Contribution will be unaffected.

   

  Event 7: Six Countries Expand Arms to Crush the Qin

  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 5th to 23:59 on July 12th
  Event Description: During the event period, only 50 gold (normally 100 gold is needed for creating a guild) will be needed to start a guild.

   

  Event 8: Guild Attack Elite Contest
  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 5th to 23:59 on July 11th
  Event Description:
  During the event period,
  1) For top 3 Guilds in Guild Prestige Increment during the guild attacking activities, the guilds’ leaders and members will get a Gift Pack [World Famous Guild]. For Guild Leader, the gift includes Hes Jade*1+ Purple Fairy Jade*1+100,000 coins; for Guild Members, the gift includes 50,000 coins;
  2) For top 10 Players in Guild Attack Credits Increment during the guild attacking activities, the players will get a Gift Pack [Guild Attack Elite] including Hes Jade*1+ Purple Fairy Jade*1
  3) Top 10 Players in Guild Defense Credits Increment during the guild attacking activities, the players will get a Gift Pack [Guild Defense Elite] including Hes Jade*1+ Purple Fairy Jade*1
  Notes: 1. Each ranking will only count once, so it’s 7 days’ activities as a whole.  
         2. The awards will be distributed within 3 days after the event ends.

  4) If in any server the total credits increment for guild attack and guild defense during the 7 days exceeds that of the last week, then all players who log in that server on July 14^th-16^th will have an opportunity to gain a “Favor for Guild Heroes” Pack including Purple Fairy Jade*1 and 20 points, and the winning guilds and members will gain extra awards of 50,000 coins and 20 points.

   

  Event 9: Half Refresh Time for Daily Tasks!

  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 5th to 23:59 on July 11th
  Event Description: During the event period, players will need only 1 hour to refresh daily tasks (the normal time needed is 2 hours).

   

  Event 10: Awards for Superiors in Arena
  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: from 0:00 on July 12th to 23:59 on July 18^th
  Event Description:

  1) You will get a gift pack containing Fo Tiao Qiang*1, Purple Fairly Jade*1 and 50,000 coins once you have launched 15 challenges every day in Arena!

  2)  If in any server the number of challenge times in Arena of the week exceeds by 20% than that of last week, all players who log in that server on July 21st to 22nd will get Steamed Monkey Brain*1 and 1 free chance of shopping in Mysterious Shop in Mianchi.  

   

  Event 11: Let’s Be A Task Fanatic!
  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 12th to 23:59 on July 18th
  Event Description: During the event period, any player who completes more than 135 daily tasks will receive HP portable pack + 10,000, MP portable pack + 10,000, Seven Color Stone*1, and Purple Fairy Jade*2.

   

  Event 12: Welcome Back Pack

  Event Server: S1-S3

  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 12th to 23:59 on July 18^th

  Event Description: Returning players with a character above Level 30 who haven’t logged in to HoK for over 14 days will earn a “Honored Reunion” gift pack that includes 50 points, Fo Tiao Qiang*1 and Dukang Wine*1.

  Note: Please pass on the news to your friends and buddies who have taken a break in the game.

   

  Event 13: Double Experience
  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 19th to 23:59 on July 25th
  Event Description: During the event time, experience gained by completing the combat-type tasks from the task organization will be doubled.

   

  Event 14: Shrewd Investors!

  Event Server: All servers

  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 23rd to 23:59 on July 25th

  Event Description:

  1. During the event period, anyone who purchases gold in HoK will get extra 880K coins!

  2. You will get 20% off when shopping in the Mysterious Shop in Mianchi!

  3. Gold Consumption Competition: The top 5 players in terms of gold consumption in game during the event period will receive the following rewards:

  Top 1: 1.5 million coins, 200 points, Assassin’s Pendant*1, and Assassin Wife’s Sachet*1

  Top 2-3: 1 million coins, and 100 points

  Top 4-5: 500K coins

  Notes: 1). Each server will be calculated separately.

        2) Top 1 player of each server will gain extra 3-5 Kei stones randomly given from No. 1-15 Kei stones.

  4. If in any server the total amount of gold consumption of the event week exceeds by 10% than that of the last week, then all players who log in that server on July 28th and 29th will get 1 free chance of shopping in Mysterious Store in Mianchi.
   
  Event 15: Sending Ou Ye Zi Extreme Forge Gift Pack
  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 26th to 23:59 on July 31st
  Event Description: Forging any item to Level 9 in the workshop will earn players an “Ou Ye Zi Extreme Forge Gift Pack” that includes Purple Fairy Jades*3 + 20 Points + 50,000 Coins.
  Note: Each player can receive no more than 1 gift pack per day.

   

  Event 16: Double Experience in Hangu Pass
  Event Server: All Servers
  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 26th to 23:59 on July 31st
  Event Description: During the event period, players will receive double the amount of experience in Hangu Pass.

   

  Event 17: Favorite Events Poll Event

  Event Server: All Servers

  Event Time: From 0:00 on July 26th to 23:59 on July 31st

  Event Description: During the event, a poll on the best events will be posted on the forum. Players can vote for the most satisfying event, the most reasonable and the most useful event rewards. The first 200 players to vote in the poll will receive a “Favorite Event Feedback” gift pack that includes 50 Points + Seven Color Stone*1.

  Note: The rewards will be sent to you within 2 days after the event is over.

   

  Event 18: Double Awards Event

  Event Server: All servers

  Event Time: July

  Event Description: Among the following 4 events: “Weekly Active Player Pack”, “Good Forum Posts for Weekly Prizes in HOK”, “Guild Attack Elite Contest” and “Let’s Be A  Task Fanatic!”, if any player who achieve 3 or more of these events, his/her award amounts will be doubled.
